BNE Archive – Phase 1

Following on from the BNE project – the amazing book and USB archive dedicated to celebrating 35 years of Brisbane independent electronic music productions, Trans:Com has embarked on a long term project to re-release long unavailable electronic music productions from Brisbane’s finest innovators of techno, electro, and the myriad other genres of electronic music.

Planned as collector’s editions on vinyl, the BNE Archive releases have been brought forward as digital editions to offer fans some amazing new music during these difficult times. Phase 1 of this new ‘BNE Archive’ has just been released to Bandcamp and Apple iTunes, and includes four amazing albums that have been out of print for many years.

Indie Market Success (again)

The 2nd annual Brisbane Indie Music Market (BIMM) – held on August 25 at The Triffid – was another great success. Cool labels, cool music product, cool music fans – there was no better way to spend the Sunday.

Thanks to all those who came along – we love that you love Brisbane’s indie music scene.

Watch this space for when we announce BIMM III in 2020.
